The products designed and fabricated by E.M.F. are mainly custom designs either by E.M.F.'s own drafting and engineering department or from an outside engineering entity. The main products fabricated by E.M.F. are our storage tanks and facilities. E.M.F. specializes in the construction of storage facilities of all sizes, from shop built 100 barrel tanks to field erected tanks up to 200 000 barrels. E.M.F. can build and design any size of tank requested up to 200 feet in diameter and have field crews trained and skilled within the API 620, 650 and 653 codes for both fabrication and reconstruction. E.M.F.'s fabrication facility is also active in the design and fabrication of storage tanks, constructing 100bbl, 250 bbl, 400 bbl, 750 bbl, 1000 bbl, 1500 bbl, 2000 bbl, 2500 and 3000 bbl shop built tanks. E.M.F. builds all parts of the storage facilities from the floor to the roof as well as nozzles, piping and supports. E.M.F. can build both coned roof tanks as well as coned floor (hopper bottoms) tanks.
E.M.F.'s products are not limited to just storage facilities and tanks, E.M.F. is involved in the custom metal design of skids, ladders, sewage lift stations, spooling, tank pads, hoppers, well pads, pressure piping and piping facilities. With certification in ASME B31.1 and B31.3, E.M.F. is capable of undertaking large process piping and piping facility projects. E.M.F.'s Tofield facility is well equipped and employs several B-pressure welders, in order to undertake large pipe spooling and piping facility projects, right in our own yard. E.M.F.'s piping division is headed up by Cory Bauer, who has an ornate understanding of the process piping field, ensuring that all the piping projects being done by E.M.F. personnel are being properly constructed and tested. E.M.F.'s CWB CSA standard W47.1-03 certification enables E.M.F to also take on numerous structural work projects including platforms, tank pads, and support structures.
