Quality Control

Our company and its affiliated corporate entities, are committed to "Total Customer Satisfaction" through Quality in Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, Support and Service.

Our company's management is committed to build on its industry leadership by providing total quality in customer satisfaction and in vendor performance. Our mission is to supply our customers with on-time delivery of products, which are of the best possible quality and consistently meet their design specifications and performance criteria.

In order to live up to our quality policy and objectives, our company shall supply products efficiently, economically and on time with standards that consistently meet or exceed our customer's requirements. This is accomplished through a continuing program to improve upon operational procedures and systems while striving to supply our customer's products with zero defects.

Products and service provided by our company shall conform to the requirements specified by our customer, and be manufactured under the highest Quality Standards. Management's responsibility is to provide direct leadership and resources to ensure continued conformance with these requirements. A cornerstone of our company's Quality Policy is that excellence in product quality and customer service is the result of a collective effort and commitment from all its team members. This commitment to quality shall be realized from product design to after-sales support.

The quality system is under regular review and audit. All employees are invited to suggest possible improvements, in working practice, to the management. Objective evidence in support of our company's Quality Policy is the responsibility of the President and the Quality Control Manager.

E.M.F. clearly outlines its service and warranties in its contract agreement, which, is required to be filled out before the commencement of any project E.M.F. is to undertake. E.M.F.Ős service and warranty plan has been researched and compared to that of other companies involved in similar work practices and procedures and is our belief that it is congruent to all others and acceptable under all standards which E.M.F. is required to adhere to.

E.M.F. warrants that:

  • The goods conform to the specifications, drawings or other descriptions attached hereto or as furnished by E.M.F., and will perform as specified therein;
  • the goods will be reasonably fit for the purpose intended, not withstanding that the goods are described by a patent or trade name; and
  • all services will be performed expeditiously in a careful, diligent and professional manner, in accordance with the standard of care normally exercised by contractors performing similar services in Canada.

E.M.F. shall, at its expense, either repair, or at E.M.F.'s option, replace, any part of the goods furnished under this Agreement and accepted by the customer in which defects in workmanship, materials or design are discovered within one year from the date on which such Goods are delivered to the customer. Repairs shall be done at earliest convenience for both parties and, at E.M.F.'s option, on customer's site unless the repairs are of such of a nature as to require repair facilities that are not or cannot be made available on customer's site. Repairs shall be done expeditiously. All expenses attendant upon such repair or replacement including any freight, custom duties, and brokerage fees shall be for E.M.F.'s account. E.M.F.'s obligation to repair or replace shall extend to defects, which are revealed or should have been revealed on customer's examination prior to acceptance. E.M.F. is not responsible to replace parts requiring replacement because of normal wear and tear or for any damage incurred to the product after customer has taken delivery of the said goods. All warranties will be void if, alterations or repairs are done to E.M.F. goods by non-E.M.F. personnel.
